Quickly and easily (& cheaply) reduce the damage caused by spreader ends to your mainsails.
Method 1 Carefully cut a cross in an old squash ball before placing over the spreader end and shroud; secure in place with electrical tape.
Method 2 Cut a short piece of 15mm foam pipe lagging. This can be secured vertically over the spreader end and shroud with electrical tape.
Method 3 Purchase a purpose made PVC spreader boot.
